{ Stylish fashion }

So far, there are two styles I like, this month:

{1} While, I am not a terribly big fan of dress made of lace but Emma Watson who wears stunningly in black lace and feather dress designed by Raphael Lopez.

{2} This week, I have been watching Pixie Lott on ITV2 with 'One Night Stand' & I must say I love her fun stylish jumper with Bambi heads printed on each of the shoulders. Although, I couldn't find any pictures with Pixie Lott wearing it, I however did manage to find that it was Jean-Charles de Castelbac who designed this very top below! (I got this picture via Shopfatal.)

Or you could even purchased this cute little top from ASOS, a fantastic online clothes shop. {But, if only I could afford this one!}

Body in Progress

Actually, this is weird in a funny kind of way. Whilst, I was listening to the song: "Whatcha Think About That", I was dancing along as if I am one of the Pussycat Dolls. When in reality, I am just this frumpy girl here.... far from being sexy!

4th of November 2010 (1 of 2)
So here I am, seriously in progress with my body, now that my order for Jennifer Garth's 'Body in Progress' exercise have finally arrived; so no more excuses to be made but to exercise. I was absolutely gutted when my original one went missing during the last move (in March) and I had it with me, since mid 1990s! So old, in fact, they only have it in VHS..... yup, you heard me right! :-)

4th of November 2010 (2 of 2)

If only, I know how to create my own version of a dress-up game, I could easily pin one of the pussycat doll on my image & just pretend for a minute or two. That seriously would be fun to do. Oh well, here I am back to working on my progress....

So long British Summer Time (of 2010)!

I can't believe 'British Summer Time' have come and gone already.

I have got to admit that it has not been a brilliant year and I have been taking each day as it comes with a pinch of salt, for what I hope will brings so many imaginable things to come.

Today is the first of November and before we know it, Christmas will be here. So with this, I would often find various bloggers creating their own version of Christmas List and catching myself 'ooh-ing and aah-ing'. It have only occur to me now that I can write one too; I mean I should know because I used to write one when I was little girl as most every child in the world would do. The funny thing is, I don't even remember whereabout in my timeline did I stopped writing a Christmas List, so here I am creating one, once again. Although, it is not quite a Christmas List but perhaps a 2011 List.....

I am not ashamed to say that I have never had an overnight or a weekend bag and I think it is about blooming time that I should get one for myself.

I absolutely adored this picture and somehow it have put a spell on me as I would happily stare at it forever. It is so deeply enchanted.

I love all things antique with a twist and this one is no exception. This one is a tractor seat,  isn't it delightful?!

Tim Walker is without a doubt a brilliant photographer. I just love his outrageously fun style with so much colour & contrast. This is the next photography book I am going to get!

This beautiful & clever technology have naughtily teased me in wanting one and I am not the only one, my little girl want one too! Although, I am just going to have to wait (ahem, patiently) until they release the new version with a camera!

I clearly would love to celebrate Christmas in Stockholm or Sweden, but a long weekend there with my family suits me perfect!

I am a hopeless romantic and tonight, I finally get to watch this movie with both of my kids and I loved every part of it! So much so, that I want to buy this book and read it!

My list is forever endless...... as some of them are not materialistic and well, the others are personal.

photo + booth = awesome idea!

Whenever I could get a chance, I would try & catch up on my daily blog inspirations, although twitter is a fantastic, quick way of catching up what is happening outside my world. As not only, is it a fantastic way of relaying news & informations to promoting yourself through your own medium, or just simply challenging yourself by summing up your mood/day in 140 characters.

I would not have come across this photographer Davina Palik (via Jose Villa) on Twitter if she wasn't the winner of this fantastic 'sponsor giveaway' SX-70 w/ 5 packs of film; on the curtsey of The Impossible Project & of course, Jose.

I couldn't help but browse through Davina & Daniel's delightful wedding website, who happen to be based in Montreal, Canada. Before I can let you delve into their website, let me tell you that I love the whole concept of photobooth (bar the purpose of passport/driving license, although of course, there would be times where I would laugh at those pictures or cringe at mine!) so when I saw that they have created the theme of 'photobooth' in their wedding shoots, a little child in me wanted to look there first. While doing so, I got a sudden pang of flashbacks with happy memories and that is why photobooth for me, is a perfect reminder to record that 'fun' moment, in years to come.

♥ scribbled intimate notes ♥

How I lve scribbled intimate notes, whether it is happy or sad! There is just something deeply heartfelt about it, not to mention romantic, sincere & most of all original that just meant to awake the heart of the people you love.

Well here one that I want to share today.....

Last week, my darlin' J left this sweet note just outside of my bedroom door, before dropping the kids off at school (incase I would miss him!). This is one of many kind where he would gently reminded me time & time again, why I first fell in love with him.

Perhaps, I will soon do a series of scribbled intimate notes or sketches from my loved ones.

Two utterly beautiful photographers

It wasn't until recently that I have decided to go back to my flickr account for various reasons. One, I do not want to hide my love of photography anymore and two, if the world won't come to me then I would have to reach for the world.

Just before the weekend, I have come across two utterly beautiful talents out there on flickr right now.... and they have now trickle onto my list of favourite photographers. I only wish I have their patience, confidence & substantial of creativity when its come to taking picture with themselves in it. Both of their pictures are mystical, yet thought-provoking where one tends to be dreamy & whimsical and the other is slightly darker and a sense of fairy-tale about it; both of which I understand and love.

Seriously though, I can not pick a favourite or two from their collection/sets, so when you do get a chance, go ahead and browse at their stream of artistry.

Secretly stealing a moment or two...

Whilst I have enjoyed eating my uninterrupted breakfast this morning, I have been secretly stealing a moment or two with the Mr Toledano. Okay, not literally, but with his photo journal book 'Days with my father', which finally have arrived from Amazon.

Have you seen the size of his book? It is just the cutest lil' thing ever, measured at only 19.8 x 15.4 x 2 cm, perfect for everywhere & anywhere. (Although, I could probably feel Mr Toledano's cringes when I have said that! But then, why would he? He was the one that designed the book afterall.)

It have all stemmed from his blog. I remembered wanting to hold it to myself as it was too beautiful to share but then thinking, that I had to share one of the most poignant photo journal blog ever.

Ecstatic doesn't EVEN cover what......!

Ecstatic doesn't even cover what I am feeling right now, as not only have I done my own website (all without the help of my other half, okay maybe, just a teeny weeny nagging on my part but I needed to vent out on someone). This here, also happens to be my very own first blog posting ever! Am I nervous? You bet, but only because I have been waiting a long time for this!!!

And at last but not least, I am so proud to say that the gorgeous picture (above) that I have ordered from Kelly Smith have FINALLY arrived today; and all the way from Angela & Renee of Leeloo, in Australia too. (Thank you, by the way!) Let me just say that I am forever in love with Kelly's artworks and I now happens to own two of her works, that I seriously can not wait to pass it on to my kids when they are very much older! That picture is now hanging proudly in my new office, alone but soon, I'll be adding my desk and a few extra missing bits along with it.
